Get in the Spirit This Weekend with McDonald's Holiday LightsLooking for something fun to do this weekend with the family? Get into the holiday spirit down at the oceanfront with McDonald’s Holiday Lights at the Beach.
Cruise down the Virginia Beach Boardwalk from 2nd to 34th streets and admire the nearly 4 miles of holiday lights. This year, the lights include favorites like fish and dolphins as well as new lights, such as the “12 Days of Christmas”. Of course, Santa and his elves will also be in attendance. In addition to seeing the lights, you and your family can visit the 40-foot-tall Christmas tree on the beach. The lights change every year, so even if you’re a repeat visitor, you’re sure to enjoy something new. As you and your family enter the light show at 2nd street, you’ll be given a holiday music CD to listen to as you drive through the lights show. It’s a true audio-visual experience. Admission is $10 for cars on Monday-Thursday and $15 on Friday-Sunday. Members of our Armed Forces can take advantage of “Military Mondays” when they receive 20%off of the admission price. The McDonald’s Holiday Lights at the Beach runs from 5:30pm-11pm each weekend (10pm during the week) and will be open until January 1st, 2013. For more information and directions, visit our website. |
